Zan de Spelder

Zan de Spelder is a lighting designer currently located in Missouri. She received her MFA in lighting design from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and a BA in Theatre and Philosophy from Albion College. 

 

Her most recent work includes Resident Lighting Designer for Padgett Productions (Including Rocky Horror Live at The Black Box, Sweeney Todd at The Warwick, and more.), LD for Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble's 2022 Season, LD for Hair: Then and Now at Musical Theater Heritage, ALD for Rachael Cady on Frankenstein: A Ghost Story, part of the KCRep's New Works Festival, and LD for The White Rose at the Coterie Theatre.

 

Zan was the 2018 Don Childs Award recipient. Zan has worked in and out of the country, and on touring shows.
